Job summary

P+S Personnel are seeking a Packing Operator for a Norwich based, full-time temporary 3-month assignment. You will pack, label and quality-check products, maintain a clean workspace and adhere to health and safety guidelines.

You will work a rotating shift pattern with early and late starts, and you will be part of a team focused on efficient production and accurate order fulfillment. Prior packing/warehouse experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in packing/production/warehouse environments.
• Good communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Experience with paperwork and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.
• Manual handling.
• Time management.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Understanding of production procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment is maintained.
• Ensure labels are packed and presented in proper condition for shipping.
• Accurately label individual roll cores and cartons to ensure traceability of labels.
• Complete end of manufacture quality control checks to verify good product has been manufactured.
• Maintain working environment to demonstrated standards.
• Mount/demount plates in line with production schedule.
• Help with label dispatch as required and trained.
• Comply with all necessary general company administrative requirements.
• Abide by all statutory requirements and promote company policies and procedures.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the line manager.
