The Role

We are world leaders in what we do, and we are currently on the lookout for an experienced Machine Operator within a production/manufacturing setting. This role sits at the very heart of our production line and manages all aspects of the end-to-end production of some of the UK’s best-known tissue brands.

The successful candidate will work on our rostered 4 shift pattern working 2 days then 2 nights so you can get that all-important work/life balance.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain the continuous running of our Packaging Machines.
• Facilitate product changeovers including the loading of polyethylene reels.
• Responsible for the effective running of the log saw as and when required.
• Interact with the Machine to solve minor issues/breakdowns leading to the enhanced productivity of the machines.
• Carry out quality checks on productions when required and report any faults to the respective person.
• Carry out small maintenance activities and adjustments.
• Support the colleagues in case of need and overview the end line process when required.
• Be accountable for high levels of housekeeping of the working area throughout the shift.
• Ensure health & safety rules are adhered to.
