The Role

Sofidel is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is central to our production line, managing the end-to-end manufacturing of some of the UK's leading tissue brands. The successful candidate will work on a 4-shift pattern, rotating 2 days and 2 nights, promoting a healthy work/life balance. Main Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous operation of packaging machines
• Manage product changeovers, including loading polyethylene reels
• Operate the log saw as required
• Resolve minor machine issues to enhance productivity
• Perform quality checks and report faults
• Carry out small maintenance tasks and adjustments
• Support colleagues and oversee the end-line process when needed
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping
• Adhere to health & safety regulations

Additional Skills/Requirements

Relevant experience in manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
