About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Packaging Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career within a global business with a turnover of over £2 billion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the packaging store area, including monitoring stock and equipment according to company policies.

Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 7pm - 7am (Nights)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Print labels using WLP2
  • Conduct stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and monitor stock on lines
  • Investigate packaging waste and losses
  • Manage WLP2 label confirmations and designs
  • Update packaging KPIs
  • Verify closed jobs to ensure correct packaging allocation

Requirements:

  • Experience working with KPIs
  • Experience in the Fresh Produce or Food Industry (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Attention to detail, both numerically and logically
  • Auditing skills
  • MHE License
  • Knowledge of BRC or Food Safety standards (desirable)
  • Knowledge of PR2 or similar systems (desirable)
  • Intermediate Excel and Microsoft skills (desirable)
