Job summary

ADM in Purfleet, Essex, seeks a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for packing machinery and processing plant. You will perform general maintenance, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance within a lean environment, and report via Maximo CMMS.

Qualifications

3 years' experience in a mechanical maintenance environment.
Experience working with automated production plants.
Experience in packaging machinery/food manufacturing environment, lean environment.
Fully skilled in electrical fault-finding & repair of equipment.
Proactive initiative in maintenance & asset reliability.
Experience using PLC and pneumatic systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance on packing machinery
Fault-finding & repair on packing machinery and processing plant
Planned Preventative Maintenance routines on packing machinery & processing plant
To work under & report using a CMMS Maximo
To liaise with Production Management to achieve production and maintenance targets
To liaise with Engineering stores/planner regarding parts/spares
To operate within Company Health and Safety policies
To maintain Company housekeeping standards
