Job summary

Manpower UK in East Grinstead is hiring a contract Packaging/Labeling Technician to support dispensing and packing lines. Shifts are Mon-Thu 9:00–17:15 and Fri 9:00–17:45, with pay up to £13.20 per hour.

Duties include feeding plates into the dispensing line, loading trays for drying, sealing dried plates into foil pouches, boxing them into sales units, and assembling, bagging or packing accessory products.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile batch numbers, manufacture ID seals, and perform cleaning in controlled areas.

Job description

This is a contract Packaging/Labeling Technician role in East Grinstead supporting production across dispensing and packing lines. The role works Monday to Thursday 9am–5.15pm and Friday 9am–5.45pm with pay up to £13.20 per hour. Duties include feeding plates into the dispensing line, checking output, loading trays for drying, sealing dried plates into foil pouches and boxing them into sales units. The technician also assembles, bags and packs accessory products, reconciles batch numbers, makes ID seals and carries out cleaning in the controlled clean area and packing room. Lifting and carrying moderate weights is a core part of the work.

Location: East Grinstead

Shifts: Monday - Thursday 9am-5.15pm, Friday 9am-5.45pm

Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour

Lifting and carrying moderate weights is an integral part of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispensing line: Feeding plates into, checking plates produced on, loading plates onto trays ready for drying;
• Packing line: packing dried plates in foil pouches, boxing pouched plates into sales units
• Accessory products: Assembly, bagging and/or packing of other accessory products as required.
• Other: Reconciliation of batch numbers, manufacture of ID seals, general cleaning duties in controlled clean area and packing room areas.
