Qualifications

• Experience in packaging compliance, environmental compliance or regulatory affairs.
• Working knowledge of UK and EU packaging regulations and EPR requirements.
• Experience collecting, checking and reporting data from multiple teams or suppliers.
• Strong Excel or equivalent data-management skills and confidence with portals/trackers.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage routine administrative work alongside regulatory projects.
• Strong organisation and deadline-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement UK, EU and country-specific packaging legislation including EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation and EPR requirements.
• Identify packaging registrations, reporting, fees, recycling information and labelling requirements for each country of sale.
• Manage UK and EU packaging registrations, declarations and periodic EPR reporting.
• Collect packaging and sales data from HQ, SCM, factories, suppliers and distributors; follow up gaps.
• Maintain packaging data covering materials, weights, composition, recyclability and recycled content.
• Coordinate packaging and artwork updates including mandatory information, environmental claims and local-language requirements.
• Support QA and regulatory activities; maintain Safety Data Sheets as needed.
• Support internal and external audits and respond to packaging-compliance queries.
