Our client is a high-growth, category-leading consumer brand with a strong presence across international markets. To support the continued expansion and to elevate packaging capabilities, we’re looking for a Packaging Engineer to join the dynamic team.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you’ll play a key part in the development, validation, and continuous improvement of packaging solutions across the region. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating with co-packers, bottlers, and cross-functional team to ensure packaging meets technical and compliance standards
  • Leading packaging trials and validation across primary, secondary, and tertiary formats (e.g., cans, trays, shrink films, pallet wraps)
  • Developing, maintaining, and validating packaging specifications and documentation
  • Managing packaging data systems including component weights and palletisation details (SAP/Evolve)
  • Supporting packaging supplier and co-packer audits
  • Driving sustainability and value engineering initiatives across the packaging supply chain
  • Troubleshooting packaging complaints and identifying performance improvements at co-packer sites

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 6 years experience in packaging technology, ideally within the beverage industry
  • Knowledge of packaging validation, specification management, and sustainability practices
  • A natural problem solver, able to understand how components should work together
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional and collaborative environments
  • Solid organisational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
