I am working with a global beauty brand who are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Designer with 6+ years of experience in the beauty industry to join their in-house team on a 6-month FTC starting ASAP.

This role requires expertise in branding, primary and secondary packaging, and print collateral, along with a strong eye for typography and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

As a key creative team member, you will develop packaging concepts, oversee design execution from ideation to completion, and ensure high-quality technical artwork. You should be confident in illustration and 2D rendering (3D skills are a plus), with the ability to interpret briefs, manage projects independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative packaging concepts and technical artwork
• Manage projects from conception to completion
• Collaborate with NPD, Packaging Development, Copy, and Marketing teams
• Present designs to the Director of Design and contribute to strategic direction
• This role is pure design and you will have no involvement in people management

Qualifications & Skills:

• 6+ years experience
• It will be 2D design so you will need to be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (3D rendering is a plus)
• Strong typography, design, and illustration skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ideally you have experience in beauty and the luxury sector
• You must be a confident and creative individual as you will present your designs
• The role is hybrid you must be able to go in to their central London studio 3 days a week
