Packaging Coordinator

Location: Halewood, L24
Salary: £13.37 per hour, 40 hours per week
Contract: Immediate start date and minimum 18 months, subject to excellent performance and attendance.
Shifts Available (Fixed, No Rotation):

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Role Overview
The Packaging Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating packaging data collection from Client’s supplier base and ensuring accurate updates within the systems for tri-plant new model and new model year programs. This role is integral to the Client’s Logistics Programme Management team, ensuring efficient packaging data management within the automotive supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and manage packaging data from Client’s supplier base.
  • Track and monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with target gateways.
  • Maintain and update databases and systems with the latest supplier packaging data.
  • Generate and distribute reports and metrics, providing insights on packaging data status.
  • Conduct audits at specified intervals to validate supplier compliance.
  • Liaise with internal teams and senior management to ensure smooth execution of packaging processes.

Candidate Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years in supply chain and 1-2 years in automotive (preferred).
  • Education: High school (secondary) standard or higher.
  • Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using systems, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Communication: Ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
