What's involved in this role:

We are looking for Packagers in Hull, Iowa.

Packagers package products in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and safe work practices. Rotate duties within the department.

• Maintain a general knowledge of the cheese production process and procedures.
• Ensure all products are packaged in the proper bag, box, and label with the correct manufacturing date, vat number, and other necessary information.
• Complete and pass on all necessary paperwork to the cheese supervisor properly and timely.
• Facilitate quality assurance tests such as scale checks and metal detector checks.
• Work with the packaging team to ensure proper sanitation of all packaging room equipment and conveyors.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for preventative maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the cooler.

What you need to join our team:

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• No prior experience required; in-house training provided
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Desire to grow with a stable company

Where you'll be working:

• Our Hull, Iowa plant employs approximately 180 employees. We produce various cheeses including mozzarella, parmesan, romano, cheddar, gouda, and Monterey Jack, along with whey streams.
