Kinekta are currently working with one of the world’s leading companies in renewable power who are looking to hire a Package Manager - Cables to work on an offshore wind project, currently in the latter stages of development.

Within this role you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary cables team and will have accountability for the delivery of the cables contracts which will include the management of a wide range of areas which will include the delivery of the wind farm cables design, supply, installation and commissioning including all burial and protection requirements of the submarine array cables.

You will be required to have a hands-on approach to management and expectation to work closely with other package teams within the project and in the line organisation.

Required experience:

• Degree or equivalent education in an Engineering discipline, with significant and in-depth experience in Project Management of offshore submarine cables
• Strong knowledge in submarine cable design and/or installation operations
• Strong level of competency in contract management, claims management, negotiation techniques and dispute resolution methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of current European/British health, safety and environmental legislation
• Ability to identify a problem or conflict, identify potential solutions and analyse the solutions leading to a recommendation for the optimum solution
• Communication/ skills: Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• Flexibility to travel around the UK, Ireland and overseas
