Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain PA, VA, and AV systems in commercial and event-based environments
  • Supervise small teams of engineers or subcontractors on-site
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and project documentation
  • Route, pull, and label structured cabling to professional standards
  • Terminate, test, and rectify faults in AV and 100V line systems
  • Construct and wire AV racks to spec and ensure compliance with RAMS
  • Install and support AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, RTI)
  • Travel to client sites UK-wide, including out-of-hours work for event deployments

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in AV or PA/VA engineering and installation
  • Strong understanding of 100V line systems, PA, voice evac, and AV rack building
  • Experience with or knowledge of AV control systems like Crestron, Polycom, AMX (advantageous)
  • Comfortable soldering, terminating connectors, and working with a variety of AV components
  • Structured cabling installation experience (including testing and fault-finding)
  • Qualified electrician (or equivalent) preferred
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to travel and support event setups (including occasional weekends)
  • DBS required or willingness to obtain
