Job summary

The Burgess Hill Academy seeks a Personal Assistant to provide administrative support to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team. The role involves managing communication, organizing meetings, and enhancing the Academy's social media presence. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills and discretion, contributing to a supportive educational environment.

Job description

Working pattern: Term time plus Inset days (39 weeks)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day (we are happy to talk about your preferred working pattern)

Actual starting salary (calculated pro rata): £18,448 per annum
Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments

We are looking for a PA to join the team at The Burgess Hill Academy, to provide a high level of administrative support to our Principal and Senior Leadership Team.

The successful applicant will act as the Principal’s first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the Academy, arranging meetings and handling sensitive communication. They will also support the marketing and promotion of the Academy through the development of our social media presence and our links with the local community.

The successful candidate will have extensive administrative experience and will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. They will work in a discreet manner, demonstrating sensitivity, tact and an extreme sense of confidentiality.
