The Queen Elizabeth Academy is seeking a highly organized PA to the Principal. This fixed-term role supports the Head of Academy and the Senior Leadership Team, handling diary management, secretarial duties, word processing, and data services.
It requires discretion, technical proficiency, and a passion for education during term time. The successful candidate will work in a vibrant 11-16 academy in Atherstone, with 39 weeks per year and 37 hours per week, ending 30 April 2027.

The PA to the Principal will provide an extensive PA service to the Head of Academy and other members of the Senior Leadership Team including managing, dealing with and undertaking administrative, secretarial, word processing/typing and data services, ensuring that these functions are organised efficiently to meet the needs of the academy.
The successful candidate will be experienced in diary management and have a minimum of three years practical administrative experience. To succeed you must understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion, be highly computer literate with good numeracy and literacy skills and hold GCSE English and Maths C/4 or equivalent together with relevant qualifications in office administration and IT applications.
The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 715 pupils on roll. Following our Ofsted inspection in June 2022, we retained our “Good” rating, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. Ofsted commented the pupils were “respectful of each other’s views and are exceptionally supportive. Pupils behave well. They are proud of their school and the improvements that have been made in recent years. Pupils enjoy school and know that leaders and staff have the highest expectations for them.” The Ofsted report is a fair reflection of the academy, and we continue to develop as we push from Good to Great.
