Overview

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, 204 North Road, Gabalfa, Cardiff. Position: PA to Headteacher. Contract: Permanent. Salary: Grade 5, SCP 11-19 (£28,142 - £32,061) Pro Rata. Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks (possible extension to 44 weeks). Start date: as soon as possible.

The Governing Body wishes to appoint a highly motivated Office Manager to work in a friendly, busy school office. Duties and responsibilities include analysis of school data, managing admissions, attendance and staff absence. The successful applicant should have an excellent knowledge of SIMS (including FMS module) or an equivalent management system, be able to work as part of a team and also act on their own initiative. A positive attitude and ability to respond confidentially to the nature of the post are essential. The Office Manager will be the point of contact with the public and should reflect the school’s happy, friendly ethos.
