PA & Team Support Officer to the Director of Adult & Community Services - Long Term Temporary Post - £28,513 to £30,918 - Hybrid Role - Mon to Friday 37hour week. This is a Temporary post with access to Permanent opportunities whilst in post. Weekly pay, 28 days’ holidays, Parking and Pension.

Working in the PA Pool you will be reporting to the Director of Adult & Community Services on a One to One bases and duties will include;

  • First point of contact and Gatekeeper for the Director
  • Managing the Directors Mailbox and diary
  • Arrange and attend Meetings
  • Dealing with a full range of queries from the public, media and external organisations
  • Research & Collate information and statistics as and when required.
  • Arrange, attend and provide seamless Admin support including minutes as required
  • Meeting & Greeting visitors at all levels
  • Arrange & Manage large events and provide all paperwork, arrange accommodation and all catering needs

Skills required for the role:

  • Engaging and Confident Communicator at all levels both Oral and Written

  • Have an “Eye for Detail” with the ability to produce accurate work in a timely manner and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to interpret complex information in order to produce clear and concise draft written reports, letters, speeches, correspondence
  • Use own initiative when working as part of a team and on own
  • Have a broad understanding of Local Government Structures
  • I.T Literate with broad experience of using Microsoft Office, associated programmes
  • Full experience and understanding of the PA role
