• Assist the individual to attend hospital or rehabilitation appointments
• Provide community support such as shopping and social activities (e.g., going for coffee)
• Support some personal care aspects as needed
• Occasional dog-related support including walks with the dog

PA Support Required 7 Hours Per Week - Support Within The Home and The Community - MD-DCC-001.

This is a varied and rewarding role where the level and type of support will change depending on the individual’s needs.

On some days, you will provide support within the home, assisting with household tasks such as hoovering, folding laundry, and dusting.

On other occasions, you will support the individual to attend hospital or rehabilitation appointments. There will also be days where you will support the individual out in the community, which may include going shopping together or enjoying social activities such as going out for a coffee.

The individual requiring support is independent however there may be some aspects of personal care that they need support with.

There is a one little dog in the home. Some support will be required with the dog - this may include going on walks together.
