Job summary

Blue Sky Brokers is seeking a Female PA Support to assist an individual at home in Little Eaton and in the community. You will provide meal prep, light household tasks and accompany to appointments and activities.

The role requires a driver with access to a vehicle, DBS disclosure, and business insurance. Mileage is reimbursed at 55p per mile, with occasional weekends and flexible hours as described.

Responsibilities

• Support with cooking/meal preparation.
• Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
• Support to attend appointments as necessary, e.g. hospital/doctors.
• Support with food shopping.
• Support to get to and from social activities.
• Support to access sporting and leisure activities.
• Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.
• Support with managing paperwork & correspondence.
• Support with gardening.
• Ability to push a manual attendant wheelchair and to also fold and lift it into the car is essential.
• The individual's needs may vary and your tasks may reflect this.
• You may be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
• Report accidents to the employer immediately.
• Report defects and hazards which may give rise to an accident.
• Ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
• This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs covered).
• The role requires a driver and someone who has access to a vehicle.
• You will be required to have business insurance, mileage allowance 55p per mile.

How will the hours be used? - Monday, 1.30pm-4.30pm (once a month possibly 5pm- 8pm instead) - Alternate Wednesday's, generally 10.45am-2.15 pm or 12.15pm-3.45pm - Thursday, 9.30am-1.45pm shopping and cleaning + 1.5hrs laundry - Friday, 1.30pm-4.30pm + 3hrs cooking a.m - Occasional weekends and some flexibility may be required
