Overview

I am looking for a suitable PA who can provide assistance to my son who is 21 years old and lives with me; he has learning disabilities, anxiety and the DiGeorge syndrome. The support is required for 4 hours during term time weekdays on an evening after college to take him to access different activities, such as bowling, jumping, walking in nearby park, food shopping and other suitable places. During the college holidays the hours will be 10 in total to be worked flexibly weekdays including some weekends. The pay rate is £12.60 an hour at all times, 5.6 weeks holidays (pro rata). The PA must drive, with a clean driving license, mileage for the car will be paid, you will need business insurance for this role. My son is very sociable, likes to go out, he likes to go to Wetherspoon for a meal and go for a walk in Roundhay Park. At times he can feel low due to his condition, you will need to be positive around him. He will need supervision at all times, you may help him with tidy up at home and learn him some basic cooking while supervising him at all times.
