Job description

Are you looking for more than just a job? Do you want to work for an organisation that believes in people playing to their strengths and helps you bring out the best in yourself?

We re looking for an experienced PA to join a close-knit yet fast-paced business in Renfrewshire.

You will be the right-hand person for the female business leader (think global networks, part of a prestigious international business leadership program and a serious get-things-done energy) while also providing operational support to the entire office, embracing the family values and ethics that the company was built on.

This is a very varied role, perfect for someone who is ready to hit the ground running and be a part of the team from day 1. You ll be managing and organising the CEO s work and personal diary to perfection and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you will get

  • Flexible time in lieu system to promote a healthy work-life balance
  • Continuous training and development
  • Company activity days
  • Cycle to work scheme

Responsibilities within your new role

As the go-to person for the CEO, you ll play a vital role in the smooth running and continued success of the business. Your day-to-day will be varied but essential with key duties including (but not limited to):

  • Serving as the first point of contact for the CEO, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Managing complex, fast-moving diaries, including short, medium and long-term scheduling for internal and external meetings, travel arrangements, events and personal commitments.
  • Producing high-quality documents, reports, and presentations to support business growth and initiatives.
  • Attending meetings alongside the CEO and take clear, concise, and actionable minutes.
  • Communicating confidentially on behalf of the CEO with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with company secretarial and governance duties as required.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent experience in a similar role, in small to medium sized team environments. We re looking for someone who is confident working with tech as you will support the implementation of new systems and processes. You ll have a strong understanding of the ever-changing nature of a successful business and demonstrate confidence and provide insights into important decision making. Given the nature of the role, it is important to maintain a high level of discretion and be a strong organiser in both professional and personal work.
