PA / Office Manager (with Engineering Experience)

Location: Village-based, Warwickshire (Driving Licence Essential)

Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 16:00pm

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized PA/Office Manager with a strong background in engineering and administrative support. This role is key to supporting the Managing Director and ensuring the smooth operation of office functions. Due to our rural location, a valid driving licence is essential.

This is a hands-on position requiring a working knowledge of Sage accounting, vintage car parts procurement, logistics including import/export compliance, and general office health and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive PA support to the Managing Director, including diary management, meeting coordination, and handling correspondence.
  2. Ensure the smooth daily running of the office, including operations and procedures.
  3. Liaise with technical staff and respond to enquiries related to vintage car engineering projects.
  4. Source and procure vintage car parts, maintaining strong supplier relationships to guarantee quality and availability.
  5. Manage accounts using Sage software, including sales and purchase ledgers, VAT returns, and assisting with year-end documentation.
  6. Oversee and maintain well-organized filing systems for both electronic and physical documentation.
  7. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and general health and safety requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a PA or Office Manager within an engineering or automotive environment.
  2. Solid understanding of mechanical or automotive engineering principles.
  3. Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
  4. Experience sourcing car parts and handling import/export processes.
  5. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  6. Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  7. Professional and clear communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team.
  9. Full UK driving licence – essential due to location.
