We are seeking a Personal Assistant (PA) to join our existing team to support our 14-year-old daughter with Cerebral Palsy. The role involves helping her access community activities and supporting her independence both at home and during outings.
This position is on an ad hoc basis, primarily during weekends and school holidays. Currently, evening activities are not included due to fatigue but may be added in the future.
The pay rate is £12.40 per hour, aligned with Direct Payments. Our residence is in East Ardsley (WF3).
Our daughter is bright, bubbly, and loves music and dancing. She uses a power wheelchair and has epilepsy, which is well controlled. She communicates effectively and uses a communication aid when needed.
Full training will be provided. An enhanced DBS check will be required, arranged by Leeds CIL. Payroll is managed by Leeds CIL.
Work hours are flexible, primarily on weekends and school holidays. Pay is £12.40/hr. Weekly pay averages around £50, with annual and full-time equivalents calculated accordingly.
