PA for Mother and Child in Ormesby St Margaret. Flexible 24hrs per week at £12.38 p/h - Great Yarmouth - NR29

Job Purpose:
Personal assistant/carer required for a woman and her daughter. I have significant debilitating health conditions, but I am mobile. I am seeking a PA to support me in maintaining a tidy home, preparing meals, shopping, and supporting interaction with my daughter who is at home at the moment awaiting an Autism diagnosis and suffers from anxiety and extreme OCD.

This role will include some morning and late evening hours, as well as hours during the school holidays. Previous experience of working in a care position is a must for this role. Please specify on application why you would be suitable for this position.

Summary Terms and Conditions:
  • The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour
  • Hours and times of work: 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. This role will also include some morning and late evening hours (e.g. 7 - 10pm), with exact times negotiable at interview. Hours during school holidays are also required.
The post is subject to the following:
  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
  • Access to free Careskills training for all employed workers.
  • Should this job role include any of the following duties: food handling, chemical handling (general household cleaning products), handling of medication, or manual handling, you will be required to undertake annual training.
