Salary: £22,653.48 per annum for hours and weeks of work plus 16.5% holiday pay
Employment Term: Full TimePermanent
37.5 hours per week, 35 weeks per year (in addition alternate Saturdays 8.30am to 1.00pm)
Based in the beautiful setting of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine Abbey, a World Heritage Site, The King’s School is one of the oldest and most prestigious Schools in the country with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement.
Reporting to the Deputy Head (Co-curricular), you will play a vital role in coordinating the administrative and operational aspects of our vibrant co-curricular programme as well as a variety of activities, trips, and events that enrich our students education. You will ensure compliance with school policies and maintain clear communication across stakeholders.
Your day will include acting as a PA to the Deputy Head (Co-curricular), managing school trip paperwork alongside trip leaders, and facilitating the school calendar. Mornings will be spent at the main reception, welcoming visitors and handling switchboard enquiries. In the afternoons, you will work from a dedicated office space to focus on administrative responsibilities.
This role is referred to internally as Co-Curricular Office Manager.
We are seeking an individual with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and external partners. Previous administrative experience, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent written and verbal communication are essential. Familiarity with compliance requirements for school trips or experience in an educational setting would be an advantage.
