Job Title: PA/Administration Assistant to the Private Client team

Location: Glasgow / Stirling, United Kingdom

About the Role

Our busy Private Client department, led by STEP qualified Partners across Scotland, is seeking an experienced PA/Administrator familiar with Wills, Trusts, and Executries to join the Private Client Team. The role involves supporting fee earners collaborating with our Family, Corporate, Real Estate, and Residential Property teams to deliver comprehensive services to clients.

This position offers opportunities for career progression within our Specialist Private Client team for individuals demonstrating strong client relationship skills, teamwork, and business development participation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Answering calls, managing messages, scheduling appointments, and diary management.
  2. Opening legal and money laundering files.
  3. Providing secretarial support, including typing dictation, fee notes, and client correspondence.
  4. Data entry and management of client records.
  5. Office administration tasks such as filing, scanning, and mail handling.
  6. Assisting with instructions and referrals.
  7. Registering Powers of Attorney, completing forms, lodging and uplifting wills and documents, and debt management.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Highers or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
Skills and Experience
  • Pleasant telephone manner, efficient message handling.
  • Proficient in MS Office and general computer literacy.
  • Previous office experience.
