Job summary

Blue Sky Brokers is seeking a friendly Personal Assistant for a 19-year-old, wheelchair-using, neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ individual in Salford. You will support daily activities and enable community access with kindness, patience, and respect.

Must be reliable, flexible, and comfortable around dogs. You will build a positive working relationship, help access community opportunities, and support independent living with a positive, humorous, and open-minded approach.

Personal Assistant for a 19‑year‑old disabled, neurodiverse, queer individual

A 19-year-old physically disabled (full-time wheelchair user), neurodiverse, and queer young person is looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to provide support with day‑to‑day activities and community access.

• Be kind, patient, and respectful
• Have an understanding of, or willingness to learn about, disability, neurodiversity, and LGBTQ+ experiences
• Be confident supporting a young person to access their community
• Be reliable, flexible, and trustworthy
• Love animals and be comfortable around dogs (this is essential)
• Ideally be aged 23-35 to support shared interests and compatibility
• We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a good sense of humour, and a genuine commitment to supporting a young person to live an independent and fulfilling life
