What you'll be doing

As a PA to the Director of Logistics - Food, GM & Clothing at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in providing professional and confidential support, managing the efficient flow of information, and resolving issues to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for effectively managing the Director's diary, prioritising requests for time and long-term commitments according to HR and operational priorities. Additionally, you will coordinate governance, planning, reporting and delivery activity across the logistics leadership team, using sound judgement to prioritise work, align plans and stakeholders, resolve routine queries and ensure timely follow-through. The role does not hold accountability for project leadership, strategic decisions or delivery outcomes. Furthermore, you will collaborate with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to establish positive working relationships, support the resolution of queries, and take minutes in meetings as required. Your attention to detail, ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of confidentiality will be crucial to your success as a PA to the Director of Logistics - Food, GM & Clothing.
