Veterinary Surgeon –Perthshire (Part-Time)

• Fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a lovely independent 2 branch practice.
• Purpose built RCVS accredited facilities featuring advanced technology, including X-ray, Ultrasound, Dentistry, an in-house laboratory, offering a varied surgical/medical caseload.
• Clinical autonomy with the freedom to shape your own approach to veterinary care.
• Supportive and experienced team, including certificate holders in Dentistry and Imaging, as well as a team member pursuing a cardiology certificate, and another with a strong interest in Surgery and Coaching.
• Competitive salary up to £65,000 (pro-rata), reflecting experience and expertise.

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a purpose built, 2 branch, independent, small animal practice situated in Perthshire.

Perthshire, often referred to as the "Gateway to the Highlands," is a picturesque region in central Scotland, known for its stunning landscapes, including rolling hills, tranquil lochs, and charming villages, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

The practice stands as a bright and modern, purpose-built facility featuring advanced technology, including X-ray, Ultrasound, Dentistry, an in-house laboratory, offering a varied surgical/medical caseload.

As a member of their team, you will collaborate with experienced and friendly veterinary professionals, including 2 Vet Surgeons, nurses, and a dedicated support staff of animal care assistants and receptionists.

Enjoy clinical autonomy to shape your own approach to veterinary care, while being supported by a skilled, experienced team that includes certificate holders in Dentistry and Imaging, as well as well as a team member pursuing a cardiology certificate, and another with a strong interest in Surgery and Coaching.

They are seeking an individual who aligns with the practice ethos, prioritising animal welfare in providing optimal care. Your role will involve utilising your knowledge of animal physiology, nutrition, and medicine, combined with practical skills to diagnose illness, prescribe medicines, and perform imaging tests, laboratory tests, and surgery.

The ideal candidate will embrace innovation, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. You will have a couple of years under your belt and be comfortable working sole charge when needed. The Rota:
• 8:15am-6:15am 2 days a week
• 1:3 Saturdays - 8:30am-12pm
