Civitas Recruitment is delighted to be working with a fantastic charity that aims to help keep women and children safe. Their goal is to empower women through support and advice to secure accommodation and move on to independent living, free from abuse and fear. An exciting opportunity exists for a Temp Finance Manager to join the team. As Temp Finance Manager, you will assist the finance and administration manager with daily finance operations, such as overseeing financial controls, ensuring policy clarity, and maintaining financial records for all income and expenditure streams. This is a part-time, temporary role (4-8 weeks), with flexible working options available. Due to the sensitive nature of this role, we will consider female applicants only, in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9 Part 1).

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will be experienced finance professionals familiar with working in a small, busy finance environment. You should have excellent transactional and bookkeeping skills, and experience maintaining financial records, producing month-end accounts, reconciliations, and reporting from SAGE. Experience in creating and implementing financial procedures and policies, as well as system improvements, will be advantageous.
