Job Opportunity: Part-Time Sales Assistant

We are seeking a part-time sales assistant to work 12 hours per week, with potential for additional hours depending on the week.

Founded in 1949 by Mitsugu Tanabe, inspired by American baseball teams, Tanabe Meriyasu specializes in high-quality baseball stirrup stockings and other athletic wear. The Jackman brand continues this legacy, maintaining craftsmanship and quality using vintage machines in our original factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Relay product details effectively to customers
• Greet customers promptly and courteously
• Build customer relationships and represent the brand
• Support store management with customer feedback
• Create an innovative and customer-friendly retail environment
• Follow health & safety policies and security procedures
• Organize stockroom and support loss prevention
• Check stock levels, ticketing, and sizing daily
• Identify customer needs through open questions and product knowledge
• Understand and utilize the returns policy as a selling tool
• Engage in ongoing education about the company and products
• Provide friendly telephone service
• Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork
