Part-Time Lettings Accounts Administrator - start NOW!

Are you a detail-oriented accounts professional with a passion for property management? Our client is on the lookout for a Part-Time Lettings Accounts Administrator to join their dynamic team! This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our letting operations, working 30 hours a week with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check and manage daily emails.
  • Reconcile bank accounts with precision.
  • Process rent payments efficiently.
  • Prepare statements for landlords and tenants.
  • Handle BACS payments and process deposit returns.
  • Manage contractor invoices and payments.
  • Prepare remittance advice and handle queries from landlords, tenants, and suppliers.
  • Complete quarterly and annual HMRC returns.
  • Oversee credit control, including following up on outstanding balances.
  • Input sales and purchase invoices in Sage and prepare purchase invoices for payment.
  • Assist with parking permit renewals and other administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accounts role.
  • Experience in property lettings accounts is a plus but not essential.
  • Familiarity with Sage, Axia, or similar lettings software is advantageous (training will be provided).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
