Job description

This school is a supportive and inclusive learning environment committed to the personal and academic development of all students. We are seeking a passionate PSHE Teacher to educate and inspire students in Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education, equipping them with essential life skills. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as PSHE Teacher:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive PSHE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  2. Cover key topics including mental health, relationships, citizenship, financial literacy, and personal wellbeing.
  3. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages open discussion.
  4. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a whole-school approach to PSHE education.
  6. Keep up to date with developments in PSHE and adapt teaching materials accordingly.
  7. Work closely with pastoral teams to support student wellbeing.
Ideal PSHE Teacher:
  1. A degree in Education, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.
  2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  3. Experience teaching PSHE or related subjects at Secondary level.
  4. Strong communication and pastoral skills as a PSHE Teacher.
  5. Passion for personal development and student wellbeing.
