An innovative financial services firm seeks a BI Manager for its Pensions & Savings business in Edinburgh. You will lead a high-performing team, develop impactful dashboards in Power BI, and ensure analytics are customer-centric and future-focused. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000 plus benefits, including a 16% bonus and private medical cover.
Location and flexible working: Edinburgh, London, Telford or Wythall (Birmingham). All our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. You will join the Pensions & Savings business as a BI Manager within Strategy and Transformation. You will lead and inspire a high-performing team of BI Analysts and Developers, fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and excellence. Through coaching and mentoring, you’ll build capability and drive continuous improvement, while managing resources strategically and balancing team capacity with evolving business priorities. Your ability to prioritise and align workloads will ensure timely, high-impact delivery across the organisation.
Being a technical expert in Power BI, you will guide the design, development, and optimisation of insightful, user-friendly dashboards and reports. Your hands-on expertise will ensure best practices are followed and outputs are both scalable and impactful.
You will champion analytical excellence, embedding governance and quality assurance to maintain accuracy and compliance. You’ll empower your team through development frameworks, reduce key-person risk, and foster collaboration across BI and business teams. You will drive innovation, manage risk, and act as a key escalation point, ensuring BI remains customer-centric, future-focused, and a trusted partner to the business.
