Full-time Secondary Teacher of Girls PE Needed in Coventry, West Midlands.

Start date: September 2025 - Ongoing

Are you passionate about teaching P.E. and looking for a new position this term?

A highly rated secondary school in Central Coventry is looking to recruit a full-time P.E. Teacher to join their supportive team from September 2025. The role involves teaching all secondary year groups and potentially A-Level (KS5) classes. The school is known for its pupil progress and teacher support/development. Initially, the role will cover maternity leave, with further opportunities available for the right candidate.

Experience or willingness to cover other secondary subjects is desirable, as some timetable time may involve cover supervision.

The successful PE teacher will have:

  • QTS or relevant coaching qualifications and a higher-level diploma
  • Experience in sports coaching and/or education
  • The ability to deliver high-quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
  • Knowledge of effective pupil behaviour management and the ability to implement strategies with classes of up to 30 children
