Job Responsibilities and Requirements
- Experience: Over 15 years of professional experience in P&C services, ideally within a top-tier consulting firm, handling senior management responsibilities across pre-sales, solutions, consulting, and practice work. Must have a comprehensive understanding of insurance operations such as Sales & Distribution, Marketing, Claims, Underwriting, Policy Servicing, and Agent Channel Management.
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated exceptional understanding of P&C insurance, especially Personal Lines, across the value chain including technology solutions, underwriting, claims transformation, and operational management. Experience in solution evaluation, deployment, and change management is essential.
- Technical and Industry Knowledge: Background in IT services, operational improvements, global sourcing, and quality management. Knowledge of offshoring is preferred. Industry certifications like CII, AINS, CPCU are advantageous.
- Tools and Platforms: Experience with industry-standard COTS like Duck Creek, Guidewire, Sapiens IDIT.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client management skills. Strong leadership qualities, ability to work in dynamic environments, and high drive and confidence are required.
- Relationship Management: Proven track record of building long-term relationships with senior executives (CXO level), comfortable presenting to and influencing top-level stakeholders.
- Business Transformation: Ability to conceptualize and analyze business transformations, create blueprints, and present solutions in the P&C insurance domain (including underwriting, pricing, distribution, claims).
- Leadership and Strategic Role: Expected to lead Hexaware's insurance practice, driving thought leadership, consulting solutions, and technology/business process services for top clients.
- Accountability: Responsible for developing strategic and technical consulting engagements, client relations, team management, industry knowledge development, and representing Hexaware at industry events.
- Additional Responsibilities: Identifying new business opportunities, fostering product and service partnerships, enhancing brand presence through speaking engagements, industry blogs, and publications.
