Job summary

Everest Advisors (Uk), Ltd. in London seeks a seasoned leader to head the P&C Facultative Portfolio Solutions. You will steer strategy, build a high‑performing team, and manage UK/EMEA portfolios, balancing growth with risk controls.

You will partner with global leadership to align on strategy, and shape the underwriting appetite and market positioning, while building strong broker relationships across London and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience in individual risk and/or portfolio/treaty reinsurance underwriting, structured or hybrid reinsurance solutions.
• Strong leadership to build and develop teams and operating models.
• Excellent market engagement with brokers and global stakeholders.
• Commercial and strategic approach to underwriting and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio solutions strategy, oversee performance, growth, and underwriting discipline.
• Build a high‑performing, inclusive team with clear structure.
• Underwrite and manage UK and EMEA portfolio within appetite and guidelines.
• Align with global leadership on strategy and underwriting approach.
• Develop relationships with brokers and market stakeholders in London/EMEA.
• Identify and deliver new portfolio/hybrid opportunities.
• Shape Everest’s underwriting appetite and market positioning.
• Represent Everest externally to enhance brand and build trading relationships.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, claims, legal and other functions.
• Ensure strong governance and adherence to risk and regulatory frameworks.
