Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking a P-8A Pilot Instructor to join the P-8A Training Centre at RAF Lossiemouth. You will deliver simulator and ground training to P-8A aircrew, leveraging your flight instruction background and knowledge of defence training standards.

The role requires multi‑engine fixed‑wing experience, a UK security check, and the ability to work with diverse teams while upholding the highest safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a defence flight training instructor.
• Familiarity with P-8A operations is highly desirable.
• UK Security Clearance is required.
• Pilot OCU Instructor background (TRI/SFI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training for P-8A simulator and ground training in accordance with standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and conduct simulator and ground school pilot instruction.
• Coordinate training, apply standardised teaching techniques and evaluation procedures.
• Apply instructor-led and computer-based training methodologies to meet customer requirements.
• Identify and correct safety-relevant conditions and behaviours; uphold safety culture.
