Job summary

Education First in Oxford seeks part-time teachers to deliver Maths and Physics for AS/A-Level (KS3/KS4) within the University Preparation programme. Responsibilities include planning lessons, tracking attendance, and providing progress feedback.

Eligible candidates may also teach related modules and participate in staff development. The role offers 6 h 40 min to 20 h of class time weekly, on-site at EF Oxford campus near Oxford Brookes.

Qualifications

• BA/BSc (minimum) in Maths/Physics or related subject.
• TEFL/CELTA qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Teaching or tutoring experience in any setting.
• Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment and background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths/Physics classes to UP students.
• Plan and prepare lessons using EF curriculum and blended learning.
• Track attendance, assess progress and provide regular feedback.
• Facilitate testing and maintain academic records.
• Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings and PD sessions.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment.
• Support students in achieving learning goals through tutorials and guidance.
