Job summary

Northampton School for Boys is seeking a dedicated tutor to provide high-quality support to KS5 students in A level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The role prioritises Year 13 tuition during Terms 2–4 and shifts to Year 12 in Terms 5–6, helping students with exam preparation, revision, and independent study.

You will work one-to-one or in small groups, align intervention with curriculum aims, and report progress to teaching staff and leaders.

Qualifications

• Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group tuition for at-risk KS5 students in Science and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group tutoring for A level Science and Maths.
• Reinforce A level topics, with emphasis on Chemistry and Physics.
• Support exam preparation with past papers and revision planning.
• Collaborate with Science and Maths teachers to identify gaps and priorities.
• Maintain records of intervention and communicate progress to staff.
