Job summary

SE-Solicitors, based in Oxford, seeks an Employment Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE to join the Employment Department. You will handle a wide range of complex Employment Law matters for corporate clients, including unfair dismissal, disciplinary issues, grievances, whistleblowing, and discrimination.

Qualifications

• 2-4 PQE.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn, have previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in Employment Law.
• Experience of employment tribunal advocacy.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task, work to strict deadlines and targets.
• Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
• Flexible approach.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Employment law advice to a wide range of corporate clients, including unfair dismissal, disciplinary, grievances, whistleblowing, discrimination, detriment claims and equal pay.
• Advice on settlement agreements an individual rights.
• Draft and prepare documents, tribunal responses, bundles, witness statements and reports.
• Draft articles and legal updates.
• Assist with business development initiatives including training and networking.
• Develop strong internal, client, and referrer relationships.
• Work in accordance with client and internal SLAs.
• Achieve set financial and chargeable targets.
