Job Role:

This role is based within a Care Home in Witney, Oxfordshire.

The Care Assistant will help with daily routines including personal care and feeding.

Care Assistants support patients in homes, supported living, community houses, or in their own homes.

As a Care Assistant / Support Worker / HCA, you'll work under supervision of Senior Care Assistants or Staff Nurses along with other Care Assistants.

Your duties may include:

• Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
• Assisting with feeding
• Making and changing beds
• Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
• Engaging patients in conversation
• Helping patients move around
• Assisting with toileting and bedpans
• Maintaining cleanliness and supplies

Your daily work may involve using mobility aids to lift and move patients.
