Job summary

Volantes Renewables, part of the Volantes Group, seeks a driven 360 recruitment leader to own and grow the Renewables desk from day one. You will manage business development, client relationships, candidate sourcing and delivery across electrical, HV and wind sectors.

The role offers ownership of the desk, potential to hire as billings grow, and flexibility on office location with Glasgow or Bournemouth options and supportive branding and marketing setup.

Qualifications

• Proven 360 recruitment with a measurable billing history.
• Comfortable owning business development; this is not delivery-only.
• Strong commercial instinct to price deals and defend margins.
• Confident working in technical or engineering-led markets or eager to learn.
• Self-directed with ambition to build and lead a team.
• Based within reach of Glasgow or Bournemouth offices.

Responsibilities

• Own the Volantes Renewables desk end-to-end — business development, client management, candidate sourcing and delivery.
• Develop the existing client base across EV charging, grid connections, HV and wind, and win new accounts.
• Work both permanent and contract placements.
• Build and maintain a candidate network across electrical, HV and renewables engineering disciplines.
• Take the lead on the Volantes Renewables brand — job adverts, LinkedIn content and market presence.
• Negotiate terms, rates and fees directly with clients.
• Set and manage the growth plan for the division, and hire into it as the billings support it.
• Mentor and manage the consultants you bring in as the team grows.
