Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Night Shift Train Cleaner at Bedford Depot to keep trains spotless, safe and ready for passengers. The role runs from midnight until 7:00 am, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend overtime.

You will hand-bash carriages, use brushes and cleaning solutions, and receive on-the-job training with PPE provided. The starting rate is £14.80 per hour, with enhanced pay for overtime and rest days; wages are paid weekly, and there may be opportunities for progression

Qualifications

• Reliable and enthusiastic; physical capability for hands-on tasks.
• Experience in cleaning/industrial/manual work is an advantage but not essential.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Clean trains to a high standard using brushes, mops and cleaning solutions.
• Carry out hand-bashing for external carriages; ensure cleanliness of interior and exterior.
• Work nights (midnight–7:00am), Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime possibly available.
