Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and ensures proper identification.
• Performs exams per protocol and reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Upholds radiation safety guidelines and a safe work environment.
• Completes studies timely; assists and trains students and other staff.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns.
• Maintains infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Operates equipment and imaging information systems for quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and reactions.
• Follows coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reports failures.
