The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a Night Bar Cleaning Assistant to close the bar and prepare it for service, with overnight hours from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. Flexible hours are offered, with peak rotas on Thursdays–Saturdays.

The role supports a bustling Brabazon Bar environment and requires a positive, proactive approach. You will be responsible for greeting guests, setting up and cleaning the bar, deep cleaning tasks, reporting H&S concerns, and keeping backrooms tidy.

The hourly rate is £12.71, plus service charge.

About the role

The Night Bar Cleaning Assistant will have the full responsibility of closing down and preparing the bar area for service. We can offer flexibility on hours, but Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings tend to be our busiest and so most week’s rotas will include these. The overnight hours will be 11 pm - 07.30 am.

You will be responsible for

• Greeting guests in a warm, welcoming and friendly manner
• Cleaning & setting up the bar so the team can provide excellent customer service
• Deep cleaning the bar and identify different tasks needing the most attention each night
• Handing over any H&S concerns that you may find when working throughout your shift
• Maintaining a clean backroom

About you

The ideal candidate will have bar or cleaning experience but not essential and will possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

In addition, you will be:

• Warm and friendly
• Willing and able to work overnight shifts
• Able to work on own initiative
