Job summary

Home Instead UK Ltd in Bedford, England is seeking a Waking Night Carer to support older clients at home during overnight hours. You will remain awake to monitor safety, assist with personal care, and ensure comfort and independence throughout the night.

Applicants should have care or related experience, possibly dementia care, hold NVQ/QCF Level 2/3 or be willing to pursue it, and have the right to work in the UK or be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or health/support roles.
• Experience with older adults or dementia is valued.
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to pursue.

Responsibilities

• Remain awake to monitor and support clients overnight.
• Assist with personal care, continence, repositioning, and mobility.
• Conduct wellbeing checks and provide emotional support.
• Maintain records and assist with medications as needed.
