Job summary

Matchtech is supporting a leading power utilities client in recruiting an OHL Project Manager to oversee overhead line schemes across the East of England, including Peterborough, Cambridge and Norwich.

You will drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence while coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and stakeholders, and maintaining strong client relationships on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing OHL projects within the utilities or power sector.
• Knowledge of LV, 11kV and 33kV networks.
• DNO experience, ideally within a framework environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant project management qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing overhead line (OHL) projects from inception through to completion.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitoring project performance, programme schedules, and costs.
• Conducting site visits and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Preparing project reports and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
