We are seeking Principal, Senior, or Experienced Overhead Line Design Engineers to explore future opportunities within our Transmission & Distribution team across various UK offices. In this role, you will deliver a range of OHL projects, producing and reviewing technical documents in line with industry standards, and developing design criteria, conductor and structure selection, insulation coordination, and lightning performance assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop typical OHL design deliverables, including line schedules, plan/profile drawings, staking tables, and crossing designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess technical and economic viability.
• Coordinate with civil and structural disciplines to ensure project integrity.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Chartered status or working towards CEng, IEng registration is advantageous.
• Experience with transmission and distribution projects, preferably with PLS-CADD software and UK design standards.
• Knowledge of T&D disciplines such as HV Plant or HV Cable design is beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team.
