Jark PLC is seeking an experienced Steel Material Handler / Crane Operative for a site in Leeds (LS11 area). You will stack and unstack steel sections, handle materials, verify documentation, and organise products while maintaining high safety standards in a busy factory environment.

The role involves manual handling and operating overhead cranes, with responsibilities covering packaging, order fulfilment, and safe working practices to meet production needs.

• Overhead crane experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Stacking steel from the saws into packages and distributing packages around the factory.
• Organizing Plates & fittings into packages and distributing them around the factory.
• Responsible for selecting and arranging products to fulfil both internal and external orders.
• Working to strict Health & Safety standards at all times.
